I want to thank you for offering me the opportunity to bring our county government home to Tacoma. Since elected, I have advocated for public safety including additional funding for prevention programs to stop crime, expanding senior center and nutritional programs, improving regional and local roads, protecting open space and conserving farmland for future generations.
As your county elected representative, I have made it my goal to see that Tacoma and Ruston are not left out of the Pierce County Budget. You and I pay over 11% of our property taxes and a portion of our sales tax to fund county government. I have worked to see that the money is spent wisely and benefit all Pierce County citizens.
- Partnered with Metro Parks and the Land Conservancy to save Snake Lake
- Worked with community leaders to make traffic calming and trail improvements in our neighborhoods
- Joined with our County Executive to fund educational and early learning opportunities in Pierce County
